The ‘Commission Report’ reportedly evolves from ‘Global 2-year Cumulative Data’ and from ‘Expert Contributions. The ’Lancet Commission Report’ reinforced previous bothersome perceptions of the ‘Unsatisfactory Global Performance’ in the ‘Fight against COVID-19 Pandemic’. The role of ‘Misinformation’ was again highlighted and this Author has consistently drawn attention to ‘COVID-19 Infodemic Pandemic’ in several previous ‘Communications’ exposing the possible ‘Determinant Contributors’ including but not restricted to: ‘Politics’ eroding ‘Science’ and ‘Facts’, Not Upholding ‘Robust Pillars and Tenets of Research Governance’, ‘Worrisome COVID-19 Pandemic Interventional Precocity’ etc. The ‘Rapid Vaccines Production’ was commended but ‘Inequalities in Vaccine Distribution and Varied Vaccination Rates’ were uncomplimentary 3:4 persons in Developed Economies vaccinated and 1:7 in the LMICs.

The ‘Commission Report’ after 2 years of the ‘COVID-19 Pandemic’ suggests ‘Failures at Multiple Levels’: Less Transparency, Lack of Institutional Rationality, Unsatisfactory Public Health Practices, Governments lacked Pandemic Preparedness, Interventions were slow, Too Little Attention to Vulnerable Groups, Compromised Global Solidarity and Poor Multilateral Cooperation.

The ‘Lancet Commission Report’ is now published with ‘Estimated 17.7m Global COVID-19 Deaths’. Thanks for reading. This Author reported watching a ‘Live CNN Transmission’ on 15/9/22 at about 1930Hrs WAT featuring the ‘Lancet Commission on COVID-19 Report-Commission Chairman Interview’ highlighting an ‘Estimated > 18m COVID-19 Global Deaths’. But for reasons mentioned above, I must seek employment elsewhere. In summary I must say it's a great place to work and I cannot over stress how kind my employers have been to me. All I've asked for in return is the right to take breaks without feeling guilty about impacting production, and the chance for a raise, to make a livable wage. Clients are impressed by our convenient parking, strict access control policy, and world class customer service, again implemented by myself and 2 subordinate officers. In the 18 months I've been employed at PHS, I've for the most part single-handedly created a security department, not without help to be sure. And while this might be acceptable for talented employees who make more than myself, I find it both frustrating and unacceptable. Understandably, we've all been told not to expect a raise anytime soon. The other minor issue is that there doesn't seem to be much room for advancement. I fully understand that production necessities supersede security requirements, however there seems to be a lack of sympathy for fundamental employee rights such as timely breaks, and the ability to leave the desk to use the restroom from time to time. With only one guard per shift, security must rely on other departments to relieve us for lunch breaks, patrol duties, and occasional emergency response. This means a larger workload for all employees involved, including security personnel. As such, smaller post production companies like our own are forced to downsize. Due to a lack of state tax incentives, many film production jobs are leaving the state of California, heading for tax friendlier states such as Texas and Georgia. My only minor complaints are a matter of circumstance. My co-workers are all very talented, hard working, detail-oriented individuals, and one could not ask for a friendlier work environment.

Working at Post Haste has been and continues to be a challenging, yet highly enjoyable learning experience. In the same breath I must say my employers are quite generous, providing co-workers and myself with above average wages and a healthy benefits package. These details, in addition to traditional security functions, such as patrol, surveillance, and emergency response, make it by far the most demanding security job I've ever had. As the primary point of contact between clients and company management, the Security Officer is responsible for guest check-in, parking operations, and phone reception duties. A small, yet often busy post production company, specializing in Audio and Video remastering for independent producers and several major studios.
